This image makes it look like they hate each other when virtually every incarnation of Starfire is extremely genuine, kind, tolerant, and accepting of everyone she comes across until they give her a strong reason not to be. once I push past the obviously problematic core concept of the art and story, I am forced to ask myself one important question: why Starfire? I push past the godawful character design for the main kid, who for some reason is evidently a pure human even though she's half Tamaranean, and how the character is clearly an author insert as she's short, fat, and has the same hair and general physical look as the writer for this. 17-year-old Mandy is the daughter of Starfire, but she looks and acts nothing like her - she's overweight, she's a goth, she hates the world, and she doesn't have superpowers.
